PARENTS

The mission of Pi Kappa Phi is to create an uncommon and lifelong brotherhood that develops leaders and encourages service to others for the betterment of our communities.

The Beta Epsilon chapter strives to create better leaders and people through fostering a community of brotherhood and mutual respect. A brother of Pi Kappa Phi will be prepared to accomplish whatever comes their way, whether that be as a student at Mizzou, or post-college in the professional world.

By accepting a bid from Pi Kappa Phi, your son will begin to embark on a journey where he will learn how to maximize his potential, and you should be proud of him for doing so. As fellow students ourselves, we understand the importance of providing a safe environment for him to do so, and also recognize that his status as a student and his academics come above all else.

Our goal as a chapter is to ensure that each initiated member understands and embodies the values of Pi Kappa Phi. Our Student Creed calls upon us to better ourselves every single day, through common loyalty, personal responsibility, achievement, accountability, campus involvement, responsible citizenship and lifelong commitment.

By becoming an Associate Member of the Beta Epsilon chapter of Pi Kappa Phi, your son will join a community of like-minded people, who value the importance of academics, but also realize that it's important to have a healthy social life. Everything we do aligns with our motto, "Exceptional Leaders. Uncommon Opportunties." We collectively aim to become better people through fostering leadership, community, and service.

The chapter hosts parents for events each semester. In a typical year, we'll host "Dad's Weekend" in the fall and "Mom's Weekend" in the spring. More information on these events is typically communicated via email.

Our chapter house is located at 110 East Stewart Road, on the west side of campus. Previously, the house was occupied by Kappa Sigma. The house sleeps 44 brothers, and everyone is kept busy with our large backyard, which features a patio space, full-size combination basketball/tennis court, and two firepits. Settled right next to the MKT Trail and a short walk to destinations like the Quad, Mark Twain and UCentre, there's truly no better place to be on campus.

If you have any questions about Pi Kappa Phi, please don't hesitate to connect with us. We look forward to hearing from you.
